Door County, live
Cameras are run by the resorts, marinas, shops and county parks named beside each one.
Door County webcams, town by town
Door County's webcams are run by the ferry line, villages, marinas, resorts and shops up and down the peninsula. Most of them point at the water. The Green Bay side faces west, so its cameras are the ones to open at sunset. The Lake Michigan side faces east for sunrise, and the north end is all about the ferry to Washington Island. Below is what every camera shows, the best time to watch it, and the places on screen if you want to go see them in person.
Sunset
Tonight's sunset is at 4:29 PM. Open a west-facing camera 20 to 30 minutes before, when the color starts.
Sunrise
The Lake Michigan shore faces east. Glidden Lodge is the camera for it.
Ferry crossings
The Washington Island Ferry runs daily all year, most often in summer. The crossing takes about 30 minutes. See the schedule ↗
Bridge lifts
From March 15 through December 31, the Michigan Street bridge in Sturgeon Bay opens for pleasure boats on the hour and half hour, and the Maple-Oregon bridge at :15 and :45, when boats are waiting.
Goats on the roof
Al Johnson's goats are usually up from about May through early October, roughly 9am to 3pm, and stay down in rain, wind or extreme temperatures.

Questions about Door County webcams
Is there a live webcam of the goats on Al Johnson's roof?
Yes. Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant in Sister Bay streams its goat cam on YouTube, and you can watch it on this page. The goats are usually up on the roof from about May through early October, roughly 9am to 3pm, and stay off it in rain, wind or extreme heat or cold.
Where can I watch a Door County sunset live?
The Green Bay side of the peninsula faces west, so its cameras catch the sunset: the Sister Bay Marina sunset cam, Country House Resort, the Ephraim cams on Eagle Harbor, the Fish Creek sunset cam, Bay Point Inn in Egg Harbor, and Bay Shore Inn and Westwood Shores near Sturgeon Bay.
Is there a Washington Island Ferry webcam?
Yes. The Washington Island Ferry Line streams its ferry dock and two cameras at Northport Pier, where the ferry leaves the mainland. The crossing takes about 30 minutes and runs daily all year.
Is there a Sturgeon Bay bridge cam?
Yes. Bridge View streams a downtown Sturgeon Bay drawbridge, and the Door County Maritime Museum's tower cameras look over the waterfront. From March 15 through December 31, the Michigan Street bridge opens for pleasure boats on the hour and half hour when boats are waiting.
Can I see the sunrise on a Door County webcam?
Look at the Lake Michigan side: the Glidden Lodge camera faces east over the lake, and the Cana Island causeway camera is on the same shore.
